How to Create an NZB with Global Search 2.0
UsenetServer’s Global Search 2.0 makes it easy to create an NZB without needing a separate Usenet Indexer. The search tool is included with UsenetServer accounts and provides direct access to articles from thousands of newsgroups.
Step 1: Log in to the UsenetServer Control Panel
Visit https://accounts.usenetserver.com/view/ and log in using your UsenetServer credentials. Once logged in, select “Global Search” from the navigation menu.
Step 2: Search for Articles
Use the search bar to find articles across newsgroups. Global Search 2.0 allows you to filter results by:
-
Newsgroup
-
Subject
-
Poster
-
Post age (based on article retention)
You can sort and refine results to match what you're looking for.
Step 3: Add Articles to Your NZB Queue
As you browse search results, select the articles you want to include. Click “Add Selected” to build your NZB list. You can continue searching and add multiple items to your queue.
Step 4: Create and Save the NZB
Once all selections are in the queue, go to the Queue section. Click “Create NZB” to generate the structured list that your newsreader will use to access the articles. Save the NZB to your device.
Step 5: Use the NZB with Your Newsreader
Open your preferred Usenet newsreader and import the NZB. UsenetServer is compatible with a variety of clients, including:
-
SABnzbd
-
NZBGet
-
Newsbin Pro
-
Newsleecher
Once imported, the newsreader will use the NZB to access the referenced articles through the UsenetServer network.
